Hello! My name is Nifty, I use they/them pronouns, and I was born on November 21st, 2006, making me currently-- HEY!! Why do you have Javascript disabled?! Now I can't tell you how many years old I am! What a shame. I also live in Iowa. Yay for the Midwest, I guess. I enjoy collecting physical media; mostly music CDs, but I do have a few records, tapes, and DVDs. Sadly, no VHS... yet. I also have ADHD and Autism, but I'm sure you'll have figured that out by the time you're done browsing my site.
Ah, the Main Four Things That Define Me™. I call them "hyperfixations," the judgemental call them "obsessions," and the doctors call them "a tumor."
Scott The Woz is one of my 2 favorite TV shows - and the less embarrassing of the two. It's a video game themed variety show, distributed via YouTube.
I first got into Scott The Woz in 2020, when we were all stuck inside due to the athlete's foot epidemic. I had been stuck at home, finding things to watch on YouTube for the past 3 months, when I stumbled upon a Scott The Woz video. I believe it was the Club Nintendo video? Anyway, after that, I was hooked.
Nowadays, I don't really care about Scott The Woz as much as I used to, but I still enjoy it, and it definitely played a role in shaping my sense of humor and personality. I've just found other things to concern myself with.
Favorite episode: Season 5 Episode 5, Borderline Forever (200 overall) (May 23rd, 2021)
EMBARRASSMENT!!!
My Little Pony is the other, more embarrassing TV show I like. Because everyone has to like a kid's show or two. ...Right?
RIGHT???
It's a cartoon about animated horses that learn lessons about friendship. Trust me, it's more interesting than it sounds. I first got into My Little Pony in 2012, when I was five years old. My sister was into My Little Pony, and by extension, I managed to pick it up from her. Fastforward to 2016, I had gotten bullied out of liking it by my peers. That was fun. Anyway, in 2022, I kept getting tweets about it on my Twitter feed, and I got back into the show.
And you know what? I'm proud. Why should I take shame in this?!
Favorite episode: Season 4 Episode 12, Pinkie Pride (77 overall) (February 1st, 2014)
I probably don't need to tell you who Weird Al is. But I will anyway! He's a comedy musician who got his start in the mid '70s sending demo tapes into the Dr. Demento radio show. He's famous for taking other people's songs and rewriting the lyrics, but he has his own original songs, as well! I couldn't tell you when I first got into "Weird Al" Yankovic... both of my parents had been fans long before I was born - my dad since the mid 80s, and my mom since the early 2000s. I've honestly always liked his music. However, when I first got truly into the swing of being a Close Personal Friend Of Al was in 2022, when my dad had me watch Weird: The Al Yankovic Story with him. I was already familiar with a few of his songs, since I had them on my (now broken) iPod, but that was when I became a huge fan.
Similarly, I also enjoy other comedic musicians and bands, such as Nuclear Bubble Wrap, Logan Whitehurst, and Lemon Demon. Did I mention Lemon Demon? We'll get to Lemon Demon.
Favorite album: Running With Scissors (June 28th, 1999)
Favorite song: Albuquerque (Running With Scissors Tr. 12)
Lemon Demon is my other favorite musician. It's a little hard to pinpoint exactly when I got into Lemon Demon, but if I had to estimate, I'd guess sometime in mid-2021. I saw Aimkid's Modify animation, and that's where I first got into Lemon Demon. Similar to Al, I couldn't tell you the first LD song I heard, but I'd have to guess that it was The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, seen as it was no doubt the most well known Lemon Demon song before Spirit Phone released. Regardless, I haven't been a consistent fan since 2021. I sort of fell out of it in 2022, and I drifted away farther when I started getting really into owning the CDs (or at least the MP3s) for my music. However, for my 17th birthday, I had already gotten plenty of Weird Al music, and so I decided to get the CD for Spirit Phone. Shortly afterwards, for Christmas, I got the CDs for Damn Skippy, Dinosaurchestra, and View-Monster. I also got the MiniDiscs for Damn Skippy, View-Monster, and Spirit Phone, the cassettes for Damn Skippy, Nature Tapes, and Spirit Phone, the LPs of Damn Skippy and Nature Tapes, the CD for Nature Tapes, and the CD single for One Weird Tip / Funkytown using Christmas and birthday money.
Favorite album: Damn Skippy (March 31st, 2005)
However, 2014's Nature Tapes is a close contender, if only it were an album and not an EP.
Favorite song: Tie between Subtle Oddities (Damn Skippy Tr. 10) and Two Trucks (Nature Tapes Tr. 2)
Geez. A Weird Al fan, a Lemon Demon fan, a Scott The Woz fan, and a Brony. It's no wonder why nobody talks to me.
This is a more standard list of the things I like, ordered chronologically by release, premiere, creation, first release, or other similar initialization date. You can hover over the date to see a more exact time frame. Any item with different release dates in different regions will only show the release in my region (United States).
(This section will not be ordered in any meaningful manner, as it's difficult to pin down an exact date for a loose nebulous concept, as some of these are.)
"Yeah, yeah, enough about what you consume. What do you do to create?" you might be saying. Worry not, I have a convenient list of my hobbies, ordered by how frequently I do them, with "I do this pretty much all the time" at the top, to "I haven't done anything significant with this in more than a year" at the bottom.
Does this belong on an "about me" page? Probably not. Do I care? Probably not. Here's some quotes and lyrics that have stuck with me, or are just particularly funny. Mostly the second kind, I'm not the kinda guy to find something "deep and emotional" when it's really about as shallow as a plate of water.

"Sometimes, you just have to take what life gives you, cause life is like a mop. And sometimes, life gets full of dirt, and crud and bugs, and hairballs, and stuff. You gotta clean it out - you gotta put it in here, and rinse it off, and start all over again. And sometimes, life sticks to the floor so bad, a mop is not good enough - you gotta get down there with a toothbrush, and you gotta really scrub. You gotta get it off. But if that doesn't work, you can't give up. You gotta stand right up, you gotta run to a window, and say 'Hey! These floors are dirty as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore!'"
