Anyone who draws will eventually create a few characters of their own, yeah? Here're mine.
Nifty P is a representation of myself, serving the role of representing me in my own artwork... eh, more so who I want to be. They have brown hair, wear a dark grey sweater and dress pants, brown shoes, a bright orange trench coat, and a top hat of the same shade with a black band. Their appearance is based on a Roblox avatar I created sometime in 2021. Their name originates from a handful of usernames of mine. Nifty comes from Not From Denmark (N F D → Nif D → Nifty), and P. comes from powerfulsanta44. However, there's no canonical answer to what the P stands for.
Al Characteer is one of Nifty's closest friends and roommates, and often are seen causing chaos (inadvertently or not) together. Their time is often spent in front of the TV, watching whatever shows they enjoy at the present time. They have blond/e hair, wear a navy blue T-shirt, black jeans, grey shoes, and a navy blue baseball cap. Their appearance originally consisted of a grey T-shirt and red cap, but I opted to switch to a different color scheme some point down the line. Their name originates from a character limitation, where I was saying something about "fictional characters", but I got cut off at "fiction-", and then proceeded to misspell "characters" as "characteer". Despite the obvious shared name, he has nothing to do with Al Yankovic.
Deci Forri is one of Nifty's roommates, and is Addy's girlfriend. She's a huge video game enthusiast, and collects them in her spare time. She can often also be found trailing the path of wreckage Nifty and Al tend to leave, sometimes trying to stop them, sometimes participating. She has dark brown hair with red dyed highlights, and her usual wardrobe consists of a red turtleneck sweater, black slacks, and dark red shoes. Her name originates from when I asked someone what her name should be, and their response was "fortnite". I took this to heart, translating "fortnight" into Latin, and coming out with "quindecim". Forri simply comes from the first three letters of "fortnite".
Addy Mirari is the fourth and most recent addition to the Colored Void Roommate universe, and is Deci Forri's girlfriend. She was born in Brazil (while the other 3 were born in The Single Colored Void Republic), and her spare time is spent either listening to music or setting up music-listening-related equipment, such as tape decks, CD players, and turntables. Her typical wardrobe consists of a standard yellow t-shirt, black slacks, and dark grey shoes. Her name originates from translating "wonder" into Latin, where I got "admirari." "Wonder" was chosen due to her original reference sheet simply reading "???" in place of her name.
Unnamed Gay Horse enthusiast is not entirely part of the CVRU, yet isn't not part of it. They're a stick figure with a comically exaggerated face that regularly leaks tears and mucus, especially when excited. Their life practically centers around My Little Pony, and the many gay relationships contained within. They also have a tendency to recognize patterns where they don't exist, and something simply being even worse than its predecessor, someone talking about the magic of friendship, someone living in Albuquerque, a herd of real life horses, or a million other things will send them on a rant about "OMG, LIKE THE THING??? WTF???? MEDIA CONTENT???" Unnamed Gay Horse Enthusiast is meant to be a bit of a parody of myself in some regards.
This is a pony version of Nifty P. They don't really have much different from them, and their existence most likely necessitates pony versions of Al, Deci, and Addy. They have an orange coat, a messy dark blue mane and tail, purple eyes, and a CD for a cutie mark. Typically, they wear an orange top hat not too dissimilar to their human counterpart's, pride flag colored socks, and headphones.
Polka Party is a pony version of the real world musician, "Weird Al" Yankovic. He's the father of the canon character Cheese Sandwich, the king of pony pop-polka parody, and unlike the real Weird Al, never got his eyes fixed and his mustache shaved. He was born in Haywood, Coltifornia, and later moved to Manehattan. He met Peachy Pen while on vacation in Albuquercolt, and convinced her to move up with him. He's an earth pony, and his appearance consists of a white coat, brown wavy mane & tail, brown eyes, Hawaiian shirt (of any color or variety, you almost never see him wearing the same shirt twice), glasses, and a brown mustache. His cutie mark is an accordion.
Peachy Pen is a pony version of Zelda, from RWappin's "ALBUQUERQUE: THE MOVIE". She's a calligraphy enthusiast with a slight overbite and a mane the color of strained peaches. She grew up in Albuquercolt, and lived there until she was 31 years old, when she met Polka Party, who was on vacation between tour dates. After the Pol-Can Tour wrapped up its last dates, Polka Party flew back down to Albuquercolt to propose to her, and try and sway her to move back up north with him. She complied, and the two of them raised a young colt named Cheese Sandwich. She's a unicorn, and her appearance consists of a light blue coat, a strained-peach-colored mane and tail, purple eyes, a slight overbite, and a pink flower in her mane. Her cutie mark is a fountain pen.
Sauerkraut Snorkel is a pony version of Miracle Machine from RWappin's "ALBUQUERQUE: THE MOVIE", "Weird Al - Everything You Know Is Wrong", and "Polkamania! (Uptown Funk section)" animations. His life story is mostly already detailed in the Polka Party songs "Albuquercolt," which was written after Polka Party simply asked Sauerkraut Snorkel how he felt about sauerkraut, and "Everything You Know Is Wrong," which lines up perfectly with his life story, by pure coincidence. He briefly married Peachy Pen in the early '90s, but it just wasn't meant to be, and she ended up with Polka Party instead. His appearance consists of a dark red coat, a spiky brown mane, two mismatched eyes (one black, the other bright green), and is often seen wearing a red Nehru jacket and some sort of perma-grin. His cutie mark is an autographed purple snorkel and a jar of sauerkraut. Intensive study has been done on him to investigate how and why his cutie mark glows in the dark, but he says that's "just the way things go in Albuquercolt," and has asked many times "why this always happens to him, ba ba ba ba."
